WikiReader delivers entire Project Gutenberg library

Openmoko's pocket-sized WikiReader is now able to display the contents of Project Gutenberg, which has more than 33,000 digital books. The entire library can now be downloaded in to a 4GB microSD card and added to the WikiReader by visiting http://www.thewikireader.com/update/.

Visa mobile app now on iPhone

Visa is now offering the Visa Mobile application for the iPhone as a free download. This offers Visa account holders access to more than 50 unique merchant offers ranging from clothing and dining to entertainment.

Juniper secures iPad for mobile enterprises

Juniper Networks has released the Junos Pulse App for the iPad, which enables anytime, anywhere secure remote access and connectivity to all enterprise resources. The app is now available for free download on iOS 4.2 from the Apple iTunes App Store.

Skype now supports new Symbian phones

Skype has released an update to its Symbian app which adds support for the new Symbian phones, including the Nokia N8, C7 and E5. The update also includes SILK, Skype’s audio codec, which should help make sure calls are crystal clear, even when on a low-bandwidth connection.

Real-time Home screen app for Android debuts

The full version of HipLogic’s real-time Home screen application *Spark for Android, Nokia S60 and Symbian 3 handsets is now available for free download. It now includes Facebook + Twitter Modules, News Headlines, International News, and Deals Module.
