GeoVector has made available its World Surfer 2.0 for the iPhone, which makes its directional search and pointing application easier to use. GeoVector added camera view augmented reality as a guidance enhancement to help users verify the distance, location and direction of shops, retailers, restaurants and other points of interest.
Colibria launches Facebook portal for operators
Colibria has launched its Facebook Canvas Application, an operator-branded portal that allows users to communicate with their mobile phone contacts directly from Facebook. Non-subscribers can use the application to communicate with their facebook friends who are subscribers, encouraging wider usage.
iPad carries Wattpad at launch in March
Wattpad said an iPad optimized version of its mobile application will be available in time for the launch in March of Apple's newest gadget. Wattpad has been available on the iPod Touch and iPhone since the beginning of 2009.
