Cloud optimization services provider Akamai Technologies has tapped David Rich as vice president for Asia Pacific to lead its regional team covering Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, Singapore, and Taiwan.
Based out of Akamai’s regional headquarters in Singapore, Rich will be responsible for driving the company’s growth throughout the region, helping businesses to securely power rich media, enterprise applications and cloud services online.
He brings over 30 years of experience in the high-tech and telecom sector, previously holding senior management roles at Verizon Business, Global One and Cable & Wireless.
