Under the overall theme of “Linking Fiber, Living Better” this year, the conference will explore the Asian market perspective, and particularly that of China, with regard to the benefits and challenges of deploying high speed broadband and what lies beyond. CTOs from regional operators have been invited by the council to share their visions and strategies as well as to review innovative business models, applications and services being offered commercially with the deployment of their fiber networks. Government officials and regulators will present their national broadband roadmaps at the conference, while analysts will discuss new standards in the industry and the impact of broadband on the operations of telecommunications service providers. The conference program will additionally feature exhibitions focusing on the role of FTTH in driving a new generation of broadband services and applications.
