The athlete, who was named the sexiest woman in the world by the Australian magazine Busted Coverage in 2017, has celebrated her participation in the Games with her "first and only tattoo." She shared an image of the intriguing design in a daring Instagram story.
Alica first teased her fans of something new in an Instagram Story with a caption that read, "About to do something." She later posted more updates of her receiving her new tattoo.
This will be her only tattoo. She added, "My first and only tattoo," along with a video of the tattoo artist doing her thing on the Olympian's hip.
In another caption, she spoke about how happy she was with the way the tattoo turned out to be. The caption reads, 'I'm sooo happy!! It turned out exactly how I wanted it.'
Schmidt, who was born in 1998 in Worms, Germany, was part of the national team that came in second in the 4 × 400 meters relay event at the 2017 European Athletics U20 Championships and third in the same discipline at the 2019 European Athletics U23 Championships. She was previously a fitness coach of Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund.
