On the night of February 12-13, the Super Bowl final between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs will take place in the United States. Traditionally, most viewers of American football's biggest game are interested not only in the actual match, but also in the halftime show. After all, it will be headlined by the world-famous singer Rihanna.
The upcoming performance will be Rihanna's first in five years. The show will be hosted by rapper Jay-Z. A few years ago, the singer took a break from her artistic career to focus on the development of personal cosmetics and lingerie brands.
Note that Rihanna previously declined an offer to perform during the Super Bowl halftime show because of the league's inappropriate treatment of black football player Colin Kaepernick. He refused to stand for the U.S. national anthem before the 2016 game in protest of police brutality against African-Americans. After that, no team would take him.
Who else will perform at halftime of the Super Bowl?
In addition to Rihanna, rapper Jay-Z and others from Roc Nation are expected to take the stage, along with musician Chris Stapleton and R&B artists Babyface and Sheryl Lee Ralph. Apple Music is sponsoring this year's performances.
