Reports have suggested that Maya Jama and Ruben Dias are currently dating after being spotted together in Ibiza over New Year’s Eve, with the Manchester City defender and Love Island host having been in a "secret relationship" for a month.

Reports from the Sun have suggested that the Love Island host met the defender in September at the MTV Europe Music Awards, two months after announcing her split from rapper Stormzy.
Maya is a well-known celebrity on Instagram, boasting over 3.2 million followers. She will be hosting the upcoming All-Stars series of Love Island.
It was further reported that the relationship has been developing over the past few weeks, but neither party has publicly acknowledged their alleged connection or shared photos of themselves together on social media. Dias, a Portuguese international footballer, reportedly first noticed TV host Jama during the MTV Europe Music Awards held in Manchester on November 10, 2024. Jama wore a dress inspired by Liz Hurley’s famous safety pin outfit from the premiere of “Four Weddings and a Funeral” in 1994.

Both Dias and Jama are currently single, with Dias having ended his relationship with ex-Love Island star Arabella Chi earlier in 2024 and Jama splitting from long-term partner Stormzy in mid-2024.
