Pakistan Cricket Board served legal notice to South African allrounder Corbin Bosch for ditching Pakistan Super League and joining the much lucrative Indian Premier League in a first clash between the rival leagues.

The fast-rising South Africa allrounder had signed for Peshawar Zalmi franchise for PSL's tenth edition in diamond category for a sum of 50,000 in the draft held in January this year.
But the South African allrounder through his agent withdrew from the PSL as he has been signed by Mumbai Indians for a sum close to five times the price of Zalmi. Bosch replaces Lizaad Williams in the Mumbai Indians squad.
However, PCB said Bosch has allegedly breached his contractual obligations to the PCb and has been served a legal notice through his agent.
Sources said the legal notice has stressed on the possible repercussions of the violation of the contract as the player may not be able to sign for the league in future.
PCB had decided to schedule the tenth edition of the PSL in the same window as the IPL in order to get maximum number of international players as there is no international cricket in the period when IPL is played.
The iPL kicks off from March 22 while the PSL starts from April 11. Sources said this is not the only clash but some more players are likely to get into the IPL as replacements.
PCB confirmed Bosch has been asked to justify his action of withdrawing from his professional and contractual commitments.
We have served a legal notice to Bosch as he has withdrawn from his contractual commitments: In the notice we have outlined the repercussions of his departure from the league and expects his response within the stipulated time frame.
