Spain's national team, Álvaro Morata, and his wife, Alice Campello, have filed for divorce just months after winning the Euro 2024 trophy. The divorce was reported to be caused by an argument on the pitch after Spain's 2-1 victory over England in the 2024 UEFA European Championship final in Germany.
Bet with Bet365Reports claim that Alice was keen for only herself, her children, and her friends to be on the pitch to celebrate with Morata and didn't want the Spain captain's parents or family present, leading to the split between Morata and his model wife. The report further claims that there are no signs that both parties want to reconcile and that lawyers are currently working on their divorce papers.
The issue was reported to have led to their couple's separation, and the 31-year-old forward has confirmed their split on an Instagram story.
"After some time of reflection, Alice and I have made the decision to part ways. A WONDERFUL and RESPECTFUL reciprocal relationship where we have loved and helped each other a lot. "They have been wonderful years and the result of them is our four children, who are undoubtedly the best thing we have ever done."
Morata, who began his career at La Liga club Real Madrid, married his Italian girlfriend Alice Campello in Venice in 2017. They have four children, including three sons and one twin, Alessandro and Leonardo, born in 2018. Their third son, Edoardo, was born in 2020, followed by their daughter, Bella, born in 2023.
