One month before the release of EA Sports game FC 24, the top hundred best footballers according to the developers' became known. Telecomasia.net tells you who got in the rating of the famous football simulator, previously released under the name FIFA. Spoiler: Mbappé and De Bruyne are still on top by the start of the 2023/24 season, Haaland has moved up!
Bet on football with 1xBetMbappé, Haaland, De Bruyne and Putellas - 91
The highest rating in the game this time around is 91, a mark that no one has surpassed. In the last version of the simulator, Mbappé and De Bruyne were the highest scorers. The top scorer of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and the winner of the treble kept their status. However, the Belgian's partner at Manchester City, Erling Haaland, who scored 36 goals in 35 games in his debut season in EPL, stepped in between them.
And if De Bruyne's career is nearing its end, Mbappé and Haaland will have to share their dominance in the next 10 years not only in simulation, but also in life. I wonder who of them will win the most Ballon d'Or awards by 2033?
Alexia Putellas of Barcelona has already won the Ballon d'Or. The creators of the game decided to give the highest rating to the best female football player.
Messi, Benzema, other stars and three women - 90
Lionel Messi, who moved to Inter Miami after the long-awaited victory at the World Cup, and Real Madrid and Belgium goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois were rated one point lower. Besides them, three classic center-forwards, Karim Benzema, Harry Kane and Robert Lewandowski, received a rating of 90. And yes, they are already below Haaland!
The face of last year's version, Chelsea footballer Sam Kerr, is also in the top 6. Two Barcelona players - Norway's Caroline Graham Hansen and Spain's Aitana Bonmati were also rated 90 in FC 24.
From Neymar to Salah - 89
Goalkeepers Alisson and Ter Stegen, defenders Dias and van Dijk, midfielder Casemiro and Neymar were rated one point lower. The 31-year-old striker has not played since late February due to ankle surgery, and in the summer he said goodbye to his ambitions and went to Saudi Arabia, but that did not prevent the immature Brazilian from clawing his way into the top 20.
Two goalkeepers - Oblak and Ederson - once again make it into the next top ten. The Slovenian again confirmed his high level of play at the gate, and the Brazilian, who has the best footwork among the goalkeepers, contributed to City's historic success. Incidentally, the Citizens have a record six players in the top 50 - not so surprising for the best team of the last season. Rodri, who scored the winning goal in the Champions League final, is also in the top-30.
Ronaldo out of the top 50
Only three representatives of the men's football are in 31st to 40th place in the ranking: it's once again the player of the English No.1 club Bernardo Silva, the versatile Uruguayan midfielder Federico Valverde and Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, who shone in last year's Serie A and Champions League alongside Georgian prodigy Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
The final top ten again features two goalkeepers - Maignan and Neuer, who has progressed with Arsenal and received the captain's armband, as well as the unwavering Modric, who will be 38 by the time of FC 24's release!
Of course, it wouldn't be possible to release a football simulator without comparing the ratings of Messi and Ronaldo. The era of the battle between the two legendary players for the status of the best football player of the XXI 21st century has come to an end. The Portuguese went to Saudi Arabia for a salary of around €200 million a year, while Messi is chilling at Inter Miami with the old Barcelona gang.
That said, the Argentine won the long-awaited World Cup for his national team at the end of 2022, thanks to which he kept a place among the best. Ronaldo's only elite-level stat is shooting ability. The captain of Al-Nassr fell out of the top 50 with overall stats of 86.
