The INEOS has continually continued to rebuild Manchester United since Sir Jim Ratcliffe bought into his boyhood club. The INEOS new proposed project is to replace the current 74,000-seater Old Trafford with a 100,000-capacity venue, which is estimated to cost around £2 billion.

The Ineos boss later formed The Old Trafford Task Force, consisting of prominent figures like Lord Seb Coe and Gary Neville. While the club has not ruled out the possibility of renovating their existing stadium, it is understood that their preferred option would be to build a new £2 billion super stadium.

Architects Sir Norman Foster and Partners, known for their work on the new Wembley Stadium and Lusail Stadium in Qatar, have been tasked with bringing the INEOS dream to life. It was earlier reported that if the £2 billion proposal is approved, they might have demolished the iconic Old Trafford Stadium.

The first designs of the proposed stadium were made public at a Labour Party conference in Liverpool on Monday afternoon, giving fans excitement about the look of the stadium. Computer-generated images of 'New Trafford' depict a spherical design adorned in red, complete with a grand roof.

Another visual look of the computer-generated images showed fans outside the stadium, opposite a park, and close to a nearby gallery. The Holy Trinity statue of George Best, Denis Law, and Sir Bobby Charlton is featured in the computer-generated image. Another snap shows a massive Manchester United badge on the side of the ground as red lights brighten a path full of fans walking to the turnstiles.

According to global advisory firm Oxford Economics, United's plans to regenerate Trafford Park could boost the economy by more than £7bn. Ratcliffe's plans to build a new stadium could potentially bring 92,000 new jobs, 17,000 new homes, and 1.8 million visitors to the area per year.

The Old Trafford has been in existence since 1910, and the newly proposed stadium is expected to be completed by 2030.
