Erik ten Hag has broken his silence for the first time since being dismissed by Manchester United four months ago.

The Dutch tactician has been out of work since he was replaced by Ruben Amorim following a challenging start to the season. Ten Hag's departure came a few months after United extended his contract for another year. The team's performance has deteriorated since he left his position at the end of October, with Amorim being appointed as his successor in November.
Ten Hag was previously considered for the Borussia Dortmund role following Nuri Sahin's dismissal in January, but the position ultimately went to Niko Kavic.

The interview, with trailers released on Monday, features Ten Hag discussing what he misses most about Manchester United and when he plans to take charge of a new team.
I had already decided for myself, "Okay, I'm not doing anything until July 1. 'If there's one thing I miss it's Old Trafford. You're always working towards a dot on the horizon, but you never get to the horizon. 'We’ve had many highs, there is always room for improvement and good is not enough. You can do better.'
Much of the criticism directed at Ten Hag was related to his recruitment strategy in the transfer market, which aimed to strengthen his squad but resulted in the team's worst-ever Premier League start.
Since Ten Hag's departure, Amorim has secured only four wins in his first 15 Premier League matches, leaving Manchester United in 15th place after 26 games. This poor run of form has intensified scrutiny over Amorim's playing style, philosophy, and formations, which appear to be clashing with his current squad, as the players struggle to adapt to the Portuguese coach’s approach.
