This is a great way for the organisation to grow significantly and hopefully it’s a start of many sponsors who will be joining in the future as the organisation wants to get things right for the home 50 over World Cup which takes place in South Africa in 2027.

Cricket is big within the sporting context of the country, and cricket has evolved over the years, and we have seen the impact grass roots cricket in our communities and how that ultimately translates at an international level. A sport enjoyed by many during the summer season—under the heat, the sun, and clear skies—this makes Ola South Africa a natural partner.
Treevin Naidoo, Ola’s General Manager for Southern Africa, shared his sentiments:
am truly excited for this partnership between Ola South Africa and Cricket South Africa. We do not only share a ‘summer season’ in common, but as a brand we share a genuine passion and support for what cricket has done for individuals, our communities, and our country and this is our way of thanking fans for their contribution to the South African cricket Journey.
Cricket South are certainly making waves now for 3 this deals, they need to ensure that this will be a step in the direction for them. When the national teams starting winning on the field, more sponsors automatically are attracted to a winning brand. It’s a Win Win Situation.
Financial injections are always imperative and if there is more money and sponsors on board the organisation will grow into higher level. Cricket South Africa will also need to grow its brand internationally, so hopefully international sponsors will come on board in the near future.
