Ashraf Orrie
Being chosen as a pacer for these iconic marathons is an honour. It's not just about setting a pace; it's about guiding fellow runners, sharing our experiences, and helping them achieve their goals.

Running has been a transformative journey for both of us. It's taught us discipline, resilience, and the importance of community. As pacers, we aim to inspire others to experience the same joy and fulfillment that running has brought into our lives.

Beyond their personal achievements, the Orries are deeply involved in the running community.

Besides being a board member of the world renowned Totalsports Two Oceans Marathon, Ashraf has been instrumental in establishing the Plumstead neighbourhood run crew, a group formed in response to safety concerns in the area. This initiative has provided a supportive environment for runners and walkers, promoting safety and camaraderie.

Their selection as pace setters for the London and Beirut Marathons is a testament to their dedication and influence in the running world.

As they prepare to lead runners through the iconic streets of London and Beirut, the Orries continue to exemplify the spirit of resilience and community that defines the sport.
