For the GC riders, today is just another day with another steep finish. While the Sierra Nevada Alto Hoya had only seen Vuelta action once, in 2017, when Colombian climber Miguel Angel Lopez finished more than 30 seconds ahead of Ilnur Zakarin, the olive-centered hamlet of Martos is making its Vuelta debut. There is a more compassionate section just beyond halfway before category one Alto del Purche, although the early sections, such the category three Puerto del Castillo (km 33.8), are continually ascending and descending (km 110.4). There are three spots of 15 percent or more during the 9.1 kilometers of its ascent, and there may be scouting attacks before the day's main event.

Key Takes Before the Stage 15 Race

With the last week approaching, the Slovenian and a particular Portuguese dragon are traditionally on the rise. We shall know for sure after La Vuelta a Espana stage 15 in 2022 if Remco was simply having a terrible day or has begun to feel the pressure of the race.

With Richard Carapaz winning Stage 14 and bagging another title in the span of three days, we have a race where every cyclist will try to apply himself fully and win.

In order to protect his polka-dot jersey, Jay Vine will need to be in the front row, while Mark Padun will be moving about. Juan Pedro Lopez has had his sights set on a wonderful day to prove himself with a finish in the Sierra Nevada.

Expert Betting Tips

There is practically no possibility that this stage won't reward the victor of a general classification battle unless a very excellent rider—we're talking Richard Carapaz—gets up the road. Richard Carapaz will likely continue to be a part of the breakout of the day and hang on until the very end. Other outstanding riders who no longer have any GC aspirations but would welcome a stage victory and some KOM points.
