Radu Albot vs Novak Djokovic Prediction: the Serb will start the tournament with a victory

Radu played three qualifying matches in New York, all three of which ended with the Moldovan winning in three sets. Radu knocked out Barranco, van Asch and Mochizuki. The match against Mochizuki lasted two hours and 27 minutes, Albot won it with the score 6:4, 5:7, 6:3. During the game Radu made one ace and six double faults, won 58% of points on first serve and 44% on second serve. 

For Novak, the upcoming match will be his first on hard court in the summer of 2024. The Serb skipped two Masters in Montreal and Cincinnati in order to prepare for the Majors. It should also be noted that the last tournament for Djokovic was the Olympics in Paris, which was won by the Serb very confidently, in the final was defeated by Carlos Alcaraz in two sets. 

Novak had enough time after the Olympics to prepare qualitatively for the Majors. We believe that the Serb will start the tournament with a victory over the Moldovan. Novak knows how to start qualitatively at major tournaments, so there is not much chance for Albot to suffer a decent defeat.
