Andrey Rublev vs Federico Delbonis Prediction: Andrey can easily deal with Federico

Andrey Rublev qualified fairly confidently for the second round of the French Majors. The next opponent for the seventh-ranked player in the world will be 65th-ranked Argentine Federico Delbonis. The score between Andrei and Federico is 1:0 in favor of Andrey.

Despite winning the title in Belgrade, it is challenging to describe Rublev's preparation for the season as successful. Andrey played well only in Madrid, where he was stronger than Draper and Evans, but lost to Tsitsipas in three sets. At Roland Garros, Rublev started by defeating the world number 71, Korean Kwon Soon-woo. Andrey lost the first set on a tiebreak before winning three straight games, 6:3, 6:2, and 6:4. Rublev scored 15 aces with three double faults, winning 78 percent of points on the first and 60 percent on the second. Overall, Rublev was gaining form as the match progressed.

Federico has fewer wins than losses on the ground in 2022. The Argentine was eliminated after his first match at tournaments in Marrakech, Barcelona, Madrid, and Rome. Federico had one victory each in Monte Carlo and Geneva. In Monaco, the South American was stronger than Munyar, and in Switzerland, against Berankis. In the first round of Roland Garros 2022, the Argentine faced Mannarino and easily beat the Frenchman in three sets. But it's hardly worth drawing any conclusions from this meeting because Andrian has always been wrong on the ground. His best matches Mannarino spent on grass and a faster surface.

Delbonis has not impressed at all this season with his play on the ground. Federico had only two wins on this surface with many losses, and the victory over Mannarino in the first round means absolutely nothing. Rublev won the Belgrade tournament, beating Djokovic in the final, playing well at the Madrid Masters, and winning twice in Spain. Andrey started not in his best form, losing the first set to a Korean, but he pulled himself together and showed decent tennis. It is a feeling that the seventh-ranked player has found his game. We believe that Delbonis won't create many problems for Rublev. We bet on a confident win for Andrey.
