Novak Djokovic vs Jannik Sinner Prediction: Jannik is in great form

After the US Open, Novak played one match at the Davis Cup, beating Xilas. The Serb then played six matches at the Shanghai Masters, reaching the final, where he lost to Jannik in two sets. Djokovic eliminated American Mickelsen, Italian Cobolli, Russian Safiullin, Czech Menszyk and American Fritz.

Sinner is having a career-best season and is deservedly at the top of the ATP rankings. In early October, Jannik reached the final of the Beijing tournament and last week he won the Shanghai Masters, losing only one game in six games. In the final of the Masters, the Italian beat Djokovic in two sets. In the round of

8 of the current tournament the Italian very confidently beat Daniil Medvedev in two sets with the score of 6:0, 6:3. The match lasted an hour and 9 minutes, Sinner had 3 aces and zero double faults, won 63% of his points on his first serve and 63% on his second serve. 

As we wrote above, Jannik is in great form, as he proved with his performance at the Shanghai Masters and in the round of 8 of the current tournament. Novak also played at a good level in Shanghai, but eventually lost to the Italian via a handicap (-3.5). We expect something similar in the upcoming game, i.e. Sinner's victory in two sets, but at the same time, the match will be quite tight.
