Kaia Kanepi vs Daria Saville Prediction: Two experienced campaigners

As a result, she could get ahead in breakpoints, earning a 9/13 advantage in that regard. Kanepi defeated Zhu Lin and Greet Minnen before the victory against Anna. Even though she is 37, she continues to take care of business against players that are not top-ranked, which means that she still has a lot left in the tank. It has been a long time since the veteran has won a title but her willingness to keep going at her age is surely striking.

Daria Saville has had a quite remarkable run herself. She comes into the Semis after defeating Rebecca Marino 6-1, 7-5. In that game, she had an amazing 79% win on the first serve. She had 39-30 service points while having a 26-20 receiving points advantage as well. Daria had defeated the number one seed Jessica Pegula in the Round of 16, which followed the three-set win against Mirjam Bjorklund. Savilla has had some promising results and even though, she has never been in elite company, she can make these third/fourth round runs every now and then.

Kaia has shown great grit during this tournament and she has been able to come through in three-set battles frequently. Daria is a tough competitor and the win against the first-seeded Pegula earlier would have done wonders to her confidence. This can be another close battle for Kanepi who has shown that she still has the stamina and energy to pull off wins against top-ranked competition.
