Jannik Sinner vs Ben Shelton Prediction: expect the Italian to win

Before the tournament in Shanghai, the American played three matches in Tokyo, where he was stronger than his compatriot Opelka and Argentine Navone, but weaker than Frenchman Fils. In Shanghai Ben has two wins, Shelton knocked out Shapovalov and Carballes Baena. The match against the Spaniard lasted an hour and 8 minutes, the score was 6:3, 6:4, the American made 8 aces with two double faults, won 91% of points on the first serve and 57% on the second.

Sinner had problems beating Etcheverry, but that doesn't mean that the Italian will have problems in the upcoming game. Jannik knows Shelton well, he has beaten the American three times on Tour, twice in 2024, and he hasn't lost a set to Ben in the last three head-to-head meetings.
