Carlos Alcaraz vs Cameron Norrie Prediction: Carlos comes in with a lot of confidence

The Argentinian Tennis scene has heated up and we are into the much-coveted Buenos Aires area. In the tennis arena, the game is spicing up each day and the competition-level is at a peak level. In this game, Carlos Alcaraz Garfia is going to take on Cameron Norrie in a highly rated atmosphere. 

Carlos enters the game after defeating Bernaba Zapata Miralles 6-2 6-2 in the last game. Carlos had 3 Aces compared to 1 by Bernaba. This first serve percentage of 100 was amazing and a 33-22 service points advantage was incisive. The 27-15 receiving points edge was significant too. He won 12 Games compared to 4 by Bernaba. This is Carlos’ first tournament after he played in the Paris Masters, which was four months ago. Once again, the top-level player who won the US Open in September 2022. 

Norrie enters the game after defeating Juan Pablo Varillas 7-6, 6-4 in the Semi-Final. Cameron eked out a 76-72% advantage on first serve and 68-40% win on the second serve. His return game was solid too and he plucked out a 29-18 receiving points edge. And this helped overcome a 47-49 disadvantage on the service points front. Norrie hasn’t had an easy go thus far, having reached a deciding set in the first two games while being forced to play a tiebreaker in the last game.

Carlos and Cameron have met four times and Alcaraz have come on top three times. These two last met during the Cincinatti Masters in August, 2022 when Norrie won in three sets, including two tiebreakers.

This is not an easy one to call, considering after how long Alcaraz is playing, whereas Norrie has become a premium player. I expect this to be a three-set battle and would back Norrie to clinch a game at least.
