Aryna Sabalenka vs Belinda Bencic Prediction: Scorching Saba takes on brilliant Bencic

Bencic enters the contest after a 6-2, 7-5 victory over Camila Giorgi in the Round of 32. She did a great job of breaking Camila’s serve, connecting on five out of ten break points while having a strong 34-24 receiving points advantage. Meanwhile, her service game was also rolling as she eked out a 40-33 points advantage. She is yet to drop a set but Claire Liu forced a tiebreaker in the second round. She came into the tournament after winning Adelaide International after overcoming a tough draw, involving Darya Kasatkina, Caroline Garcia, and Garbine Muguruza. However, she has been unable to make a deep run in Grand Slams lately, mainly getting out by the second round.

This is the third time these two will clash and the h2h is tied. They last clashed during Dubai Open back in 2019 where the Bencic win was garnered in a third-set tiebreaker.

The last time when these two met, the game went down to the wire, however, Aryna has been much better since that time while Bencic’s game has fallen a lot. Aryna has beaten elite players more often than Belinda. However, you can’t take a player like Belinda lightly and Aryna has learned well how to be prepared for high quality players. I favor Aryna’s chances here but this can go to the third set.
