Wu Yize – 14-Year-Old IBSF U21 World Champion

Wu Yize is a professional Chinese snooker player. Wu Yize won the IBSF U-21 World Championship in 2018 at the age of fourteen, defeating Thailand's Pongsakorn Chongjairak 6–4 in the final.

Wu Yize received a wildcard entrance to the 2019 International Championship in Daqing, where he was defeated 6–5 by John Higgins. After advancing through the group stage, Wu advanced to the last 32 of the 2019 Six Red World Championship in Bangkok. He next played Higgins again, this time losing 6–4. He faced Luca Brecel at the 2019 World Open in Yushan, losing 5-2 but impressing with an 85-point break and a century of 130.

As a result of his performance on the 2021 CBSA China Tour, he was given a tour card for the 2021–22 and 2022–23 World Snooker Tour seasons.

Andy Hicks - The Cream of Devon

Andrew Hicks is a professional snooker player from England. Hicks, dubbed "The Cream of Devon," reached the semi-finals of both the World Snooker Championship and the UK Championship in 1995 and the same level in four other ranking competitions. He was a Masters semi-finalist in 1996, and he was ranked among the world's top 32 players from 1995 to 2000, and again from 2005 to 2007, before being demoted from the main circuit in 2013. In 2019, he reclaimed his two-year tour card.

He has amassed 100 competitive centuries during his career and has achieved a maximum break in the UK Championship qualifications in 2012. Despite winning only one major event, Hicks has earned a total of GB£562,560 in his career (as of the start of the 2006/2007 season). In May 2018, he joined Q School in an attempt to reclaim his status on the professional snooker tour.

Hicks won six matches at Q-School - Event 3 in June 2019 to obtain a two-year World Snooker Tour card for the 2019/2020 and 2020–21 seasons.
