Jordan Brown vs. Jamie Jones: Brown’s Red Hot Winning Form at Gibraltar Open Continues

It has been a scintillating and exciting contest as Brown made it to the final round of 16 after defeating Englishman Louis Heathcote. Jordan Brown is currently placed at the 27th spot in the world rankings, though his peculiar winning form and gameplay doesn’t comply with his ranking, he’s just phenomenal in the ongoing Gibraltar Open. Jamie Jones has also been upto the challenge, equally matching the standards and quality of Jamie Jones. Jamie’s games against Lulian Boiko and Billy Joe Castle ended without a result. The upcoming fixture would certainly be an amazing contest between the two. 

Jordan Brown has been continuing his top form from Turkish Masters; however, his form was obstructed by two back-to-back defeats against Kyren Wilson (4:0) and Jack Lisowski (4:2). Though Jordan Brown is a tough competitor of the game, he still had to face defeat against Kyren and Jack. In Gibraltar, Open Brown defeated O’Donnell (0-4), Pinches L (0-4), and Heathcote (4-0). One thing is for sure Brown is unstoppable in the ongoing Gibraltar Open.

Jamies Jones has also been a tough competitor in the ongoing tournament. He is currently placed at the 38th spot in the world rankings. After defeating Anda Zhang (4-2), Jones got some decent recognization in the circuit. Before that, he has defeated Uilian Boiko (4-0) in style. Going in the game, Jones would look to stick to the basics and play competitively.

Comparing both players and their ongoing match form, Jordan Brown is likely to dictate terms against Jamies Jones, who might struggle. However, both these players are looking confident of winning, but I would go with Jordan Brown to win.
