Alfred Burden is a professional snooker player from London, England.
Burden reached the quarter-finals of the Scottish Open in December 2018 after defeating former world champions Peter Ebdon and John Higgins. Surprisingly, he came back from 3-0 down in rounds 2 and 3 to win 4–3 against Marco Fu and Zhang Yong, respectively. A poor performance in the quarter-finals resulted in a 5–0 defeat to eventual tournament champion Mark Allen.
He has the most centuries of any player who has never been ranked in the top 32.
Burden has declared that he will retire from snooker on September 2, 2020. However, he returned to Q School in May 2021 and won Event Two, earning a two-year Tour Card.
Rory Mc Leod – The Highlander
Rory McLeod is a professional snooker player from Jamaica.
McLeod played 18 years on the main circuit between 2001 and 2019, attaining his greatest position of 32nd in August 2011. He had three consecutive professional careers in the 1990s, interspersed with time on the subsidiary Challenge Tour. He had reached the last 16 in 10 ranking events, with his most famous accomplishment coming in 2015, when he won the minor-ranked Ruhr Open, defeating Tian Pengfei 4–2.
McLeod was relegated from the main tour at the end of the 2018-2019 season and played the 2019-20 season on the World Seniors Tour and Challenge Tour before regaining his professional status in August 2020 at Q School.
