Ulster vs Leinster Prediction: Leinster won’t drop points

Kingspan Stadium will host this URC encounter between Ulster and Leinster. How will this game end?

Ulster were brilliant against Scarlets the previous weekend, securing a road win, a game that ended 20-31. However, Ulster have won four of their last games, three others against Montpellier, Cardiff Rugby, and Benetton. In the meantime, their game against Clermont in that run ended in a 53-14 defeat. This season, Ulster have accumulated 49 points from 16 games, positioning them 6th in the league spots. 

Leinster made it two wins in a row after consecutive losses to the Lions and Stormers last weekend. In their wins, Leinster played Northampton Saints in the semifinal of the European Rugby Champions and then played Ospreys in the United Rugby Championship. However, this side is still one point adrift of first-placed Glasgow Warriors, having accumulated 59 points from 16 games. 

Leinster are now focused on finishing at the top of the standings ahead of the playoff, and this side has the qualities needed to win every game. At home, Ulster need a win to boost their playoff spot, as they can not afford to gamble on this kind of game. Regardless, Leinster have more quality and have displayed top-level performances in the past. This should be a tight one, and I believe the road team, thanks to the players’s quality and style of play, should win this one.
