Stormers vs. Zebre: Is Zebre Ready to Score Their First Win Yet?

Of the two Week 6 games scheduled for 13 March 2022, one will be a competition between Stormers and Zebre at the Danie Craven Stadium, South Africa. This game is their first together and will be an exciting one with an unexpected outcome.

The Stormers have been doing pretty great in the Championship so far. They have played 5 matches yet, out of which 3 ended in a victory by Bulls 30-26, Sharks 20-10, and Lions 32-10, while 1 in a tiebreaker. The team’s performance seems to have improved compared to last season when they could only beat Dragons 24-10 in one of the five games played. This development of the squad might signify that they are aiming to change for good this season. Stormers have not had a chance to face Zebre before, which makes them eager to score a top win to add to their already enhanced form.

Zebre has been out of luck for a while and has not regained momentum in the series yet. The last match they won was at the start of 2021, to Dragons 26-15. Zebre’s game has been inconsistent in the past as well, and the team requires some victories to improve their overall record. Moreover, they are positioned last on the standings currently, which wouldn’t work in their favor in the future if they do put more effort in the field now. Like Stormers, the coming game will be a new experience for Zebre as well, and this will certainly add to the already present pressure of successive losses.

As per the record, Zebre needs some work to get to a better stance, while in comparison to the past, Stormers seem to have put the required effort into the series. It is expected that with the increasing pace of the team, Stormers will not interrupt their commendable performance with a defeat against Zebre.
