St George Illawarra Dragons vs. Newcastle Knights: Both Teams Looking to Win

The St. George Illawarra Dragons were defeated by the South Sydney Rabbitohs last week, leaving them with only one win this season and four losses in a row.

The Dragons have won just one of their last 13 games, which is far from good enough, and head coach Anthony Griffin may find it difficult to keep his job if results do not improve soon. This week, the head coach has opted for experience once again, with Josh McGuire and George Burgess coming into the side.

The Newcastle Knights were hampered by injuries in their loss to the Manly Sea Eagles last week, but they were ultimately unable to win as they struggled to create with the ball in hand for the second week in a row. The Knights were held to a solitary try after going scoreless in their previous match against the Cronulla Sharks, and they have been forced to make a couple of changes this week with Dom Young and Jirah Momoisea ruled out, but David Klemmer is set to return, while Edrick Lee returns to the wing for the first time in over 18 months.
