Moana Pasifika vs. Crusaders: Moana’s First Competition of the League

Round 3 of the Super Rugby League will commence this week, for which Moana Pasifika and Crusaders will compete on 4 March 2022 at the Forsyth Barr Stadium, New Zealand. The previous weeks’ games for Moana were postponed, but Crusaders scored a win against Hurricanes 42-32 and Highlanders 34-19. The fans will be looking forward to what Moana Pasifika has in store for them this week for their first game of the League.

Moana Pasifika has not had a chance to compete in the Super League yet. The coming match is their first game, and they can be pretty unpredictable with an insignificant history to refer. The last game they played was in 2020 when they lost to New Zealand Maori 28-21. In the last 2 games, the Crusaders scored a considerable margin, before which in the Super Rugby Trans-Tasman, they beat Brumbies 31-29, Reds 63-28, Waratahs 54-28, Western Force 29-21, and Melbourne Rebels 52-26. These incredible scores make it pretty evident that the team will not go easy on their opponent. They are confident and undoubtedly possess a great game plan which helps them get luck on their side quite frequently. The squad’s record reflects upon their efforts in the field. They haven’t had a chance to compete against Moana before, but this is their opening to start the head-to-head count with a lead.
