In a road encounter, Brisbane Broncos needed to come back from behind after an 18-12 defeat in the first half to pull off a 0-30 win in the second to secure maximum points. In the meantime, that win was this team’s second in their most recent matches, having defeated the Newcastle Knights. Heading into this match, Brisbane Broncos have suffered defeats in eight of their last ten league games. 

The Parramatta Eels ended on the losing end the previous weekend against the Sydney Roosters in a game that ended 38-14. In that encounter, the Parramatta Eels did struggle in the first half as they lost 24-4, and despite scoring 10 points in the second half, they still failed to meet up with their opponent’s 14. Heading into this match, Parramatta Eels have lost as many as eight of their last nine league games, and their only win came against the New Zealand Warriors. In the meantime, they lost to Gold Coast Titans, South Sydney Rabbitohs, and Canterbury Bulldogs, among others. 

The Brisbane Broncos winning this game is very feasible, considering how poor the Parramatta Eels have been in recent weeks. In the meantime, the two teams are not at their best, making it difficult to fully back either side. Yet, if the Broncos can perform like they did the previous weekend on the road against the NQ Cowboys, they will get the result in what should be a high-scoring game.
