In the meantime, their last encounter against Australia did not end well, as they lost 19-20 despite being the favorite side. Argentina head into this game, seated third in the standings with 5 points. 

Australia will look to improve their record in this tournament and secure a much-needed win in this game. In their last weekend encounter against Argentina, Australia secured their first win in this tournament, which ended by one point. However, their first two games against South Africa ended in defeats, ending in 7-33 and 12-30. Australia has only four points in the Rugby Championship, leaving them at the bottom of the standings. 

We may argue that Argentina would have learned much from their defeat last weekend. However, Australia is still the better side here, even though they come in as underdogs. This should be a close encounter regardless, given that the two teams will come with confidence, but Australia is still expected to get the job done.
