Slovenia vs Poland Prediction: who will turn out to be stronger?

The Slovenians, just like in the last Nations League, took first place in a smooth tournament. They beat Serbia, gave one game to Canada and beat the French on a tie-break.

In two out of three games, the team lost to their opponents on the block, but in all three matches they were better in terms of aces - 8:5 against Canada, 6:3 against Serbia and 12:4 against France.

Interestingly, against the Canadians, the Slovenians made 13 mistakes on serve with eight aces, while against the French they made 16 mistakes with 12 aces. We already wrote about this unique phenomenon before the Slovenia-Canada match.

By the way, both Canadians and Frenchmen committed more errors on serve.

The Poles have only two wins in their group, one of which was over Egypt. They lost to the Italians with an unseemly total of 178 points for such a match.

Poland won against the Brazilians in both blocks and aces, but lost to Italy in both respects. What unites these two matches is the following: in both matches Poland committed more errors on serve - 18:10 and 22:18 respectively.

The rivals have met three times this season. They exchanged dry victories in the Nations League, and Poland won 3:1 at the Wagner Memorial.

Perhaps the defeat to Italy was some clever plan by Grbic, but 12 from 31 for Kurek and eight from 24 for Leon in attack are poor numbers. Interestingly, Kurek played even worse against Brazil - eight out of 27. It turns out that Grbic had not one, but two cunning plans for Kurek. In short, we think Poland has big problems with both sides - only Semeniuk looks decent.
