Yaroslav Amosov is the current Bellator champion with a zero-loss record, and he has also been very successful in amateur sports. He has won the World Combat Sambo Championship four times, the GEFC Pro MMA World Championship, and many other major competitions.
At the beginning of his professional career, he competed in Ukrainian promotions and in the Russian league Tech-Krep FC. Yaroslav came to Bellator in 2018 and quickly went to the title. His last fight was the first defense when he dismantled Logan Storley without options in five rounds. Amosov is a versatile fighter, but wrestling is still his main weapon. However, he is also good at standing, which he showed in his last fight.
Yaroslav is one of the best welterweights on this planet, if not the best welterweight on the planet. The record he brings to the table and the skillset, he knows how to win fights. He’s been fighting for a while. He fought a lot of tough guys. So, I will say he’s up there in the rankings.
Jason Jackson
Jason Jackson
Undoubtedly, Jackson deserves to be here. He is very high in the rankings and is on a streak of six straight wins, all in Bellator. Moreover, this streak includes wins over the top fighters in the league - Benson Henderson, Paul Daley, and Douglas Lima, among others (all by unanimous decision).
In general, he does not spoil the fans with spectacular fights, he does not finish his opponents very often, and his strongest side is hard to determine. Jason is not bad in any of the components, but he is not the best in any of them.
Expert Betting Tips
The fight will not end early. It's hard to say which way it will go - Amosov can fight in the standing or torture his opponent in the parterre. He will have an advantage in both, but there will be dangers for him in both - Jackson is very good on the ground, his jiu-jitsu is at a high level, and on the feet there is always the possibility of a lucky punch.
