Vadim Nemkov became Bellator's welterweight champion in 2020 when he finished Ryan Bader. He defended the belt four times but recently relinquished it and decided to pursue a career in the heavyweight division.

Vadim had his last fight last summer against the legendary Yoel Romero and easily defeated the Soldier of God, using him as a training bag for all three rounds.
