UFC APEX (Las Vegas)
06.11.2022. 02:30
On the night of November 5-6, another UFC Vegas tournament will take place in Las Vegas. One of the main card fights fill have Russian fighter Tagir Ulanbekov share the cage with American Nathan Maness.
The fight will take place in the flyweight division. Tagir Ulanbekov is number 15 in the official UFC rankings, while Nate Maness is not in the top 15. The Russian fighter is the favorite in bookmaker's quotations.

Tagir is a well-known fighter in Russia, a member of Khabib Nurmagomedov's team, former AMC Fight Nights and Gorilla Fighting Championship champion. Ulanbekov's strong side is the wrestling (you bet), but in UFC things are going hard for him.
Tagir won his first two fights in the biggest leagues of the world against mediocre fighters (once by split decision), but lost his last one against Tim Elliott. The Russian lost those two rounds clean, missed some take-downs and appeared to be frankly weak in the standup. Ulanbekov had a chance to strangle his opponent in the third round but didn't take it.
Nathan Maness
Before coming to the UFC, Nathan Maness managed to become a champion in four local leagues, all in different weight classes. As for the strongest league in the world, here he won three fights in a row (two of them early), but then he got on Umar Nurmagomedov and expectedly lost, but it was by decision.
While Maness lost that fight in one round, let's note that Umar finished his three previous fights early.
Tale of the tape
The fighters will be competing in the ground, where the American will have an advantage in terms of strength and anthropometry. But the bookmakers' favorite is the Russian, probably because his coach's name (Khabib Nurmagomedov) is still a mysterious influence on the predictors.

Expert Betting Tips
Indeed, the odds are a bit surprising, we don't think Tagir is the favorite here. Maness is a tough fighter. Even if he's not a star, he wins his fights. As for Ulanbekov, once his opponent's level goes up, he instantly starts to make mistakes. Most likely, Maness will give the Russian even more problems than Tim Elliott.
Our prediction: Nathan Maness will win.
