Song Yadong vs Chris Gutierrez Prediction: The fight will end quickly

Las Vegas (USA) will host a UFC tournament, the main event of which will be a confrontation between Chinese Song Yadong and American Chris Gutierrez.

Song Yadong is much more likely to win by knockout than by submission, and in his last five fights, he has lost only once - and that was by doctor's decision. In his previous fight, he knocked out Ricky Simon.

Chris Gutierrez is not a big fighter, but he won his last fight by decision over Heili Alateng. He hasn't had any tough opponents in his career, except for two - he lost to Pedro Munoz by decision and knocked out Frankie Edgar by knee, which was the third consecutive knockout loss for the 42-year-old Edgar.

The Chinese fighter is the favorite here. Song Yadong's skills are more serious, his attacks are more dangerous, plus he has a huge advantage in the parterre.

But it's not interesting to bet just on Song Yadong's victory, and the odds are too low. We believe an early finish is likely, as Gutierrez has frankly faltered in his last few fights, even against weaker opposition. But the Chinese fighter looked decent, even against Corey Sandhagen.
