Petr Yan vs Aljamain Sterling: Jahn to win the fight before the end

Another UFC tournament will take place on April 10 in Jacksonville (USA). In one of the main card fights, Russian fighter Petr Yan will share the cage with US representative Aljamain Sterling.

Petr will get his way, despite my bias against Sterling. Petr is in great shape, went through a great camp in Thailand. He's loaded, much stronger attitude. Even more comfortable mentally than Sterling, who all this time can't call himself a champion on the outcome of his first fight with Petr, and who has been persecuted all this time for it.

Now he doesn't have to be so wary of fighting Aljamain, as we've seen Petr declassify him even in that aspect. Whatever Sterling said about health issues, it wasn't about that, it was about Ian's technique and versatility, who is now at a level out of reach for the American in wrestling.

So Petr will go forward even harder, smashing his opponent methodically, taking his time. His goal is to smash and take his belt. Sterling's only chance is to somehow hit with some kind of sloppy punch, a collapser. Maybe he'll try to jump a little bit from the knee.

I think his tactic will also be to drag him into the wrestling, somehow tie it up there, not to go into striking exchanges, not to let him move and work first number one. I believe that all this will not work in the fight with Petr. The result of the fight: an early decision from Yan - round four, five. Petr will knock out or finish Sterling, who is unlikely to withstand his pace.

Bookmaker's analysts see the Russian fighter as a big favourite in this confrontation. So, the odds on Yan's victory are 1.14, while on Sterling's victory it is already 5.50.

That said, the bookmaker is not convinced that the fight will end early.
