Mahmud Muradov is the same guy who was once a guest worker in Russia but managed to emigrate to the Czech Republic, where he became a superstar. He suffered the most losses in his professional career when combining sports, studies, and work. Still, his success in the cage didn't last too long - in 2019, he was noticed by Dana White and invited to the UFC, and Muradov didn't get lost in the world's strongest league (four wins and two losses). He last entered the UFC octagon in February this year, but his fight with Aliaskhab Khizriev didn't work out, and he was quickly stopped due to an accidental poke in the eye.

Mahmud has a huge army of fans not only in Uzbekistan and the Czech Republic. His style makes for spectacular stand-up fights, and his wins include many beautiful knockouts. After his release from the UFC, he did not mourn for long (or maybe not at all)—he had no shortage of offers from other leagues.

Scott Askham is a stand-up fighter who competed in the UFC for several years. He left in 2017 and moved via ASW (where he defeated Luke Barnatt) to the powerful Polish promotion KSW, where he even became champion. However, he is more remembered for suffering two consecutive losses to Mamed Khalidov's flying knee.

None of these guys will jump to their feet to escape their opponent's fists, and we have every right to expect an early end to the fight. But we don't think it will all be over immediately - guys rarely win or lose in the first round, and Muradov will need some time to adjust to the league.
