At 40 years old, Lina Lansberg is a decorated Muay Thai artist and Kickboxer. Debuting in the UFC in 2016 the “Elbow Queen” has not had a stellar career in comparison with her Muay Thai stint but she has made it into the Bantamweight rankings. She comes into this fight on a three-match losing streak having last won in 2019. She took a break from the sport to have a baby. Since her return the Swedish artist has not won a fight but has shown heart and grit to go the distance with both fighters.
Mayra Bueno Silva
Three fights into her UFC career, Mayra Bueno Silva already has a number beside her name. The number fourteen-ranked Bantamweight debuted in the UFC at Flyweight with a win over Gillian Robertson in 2018. After a 2021 loss to Manon Fiorot, Silva moved up to Bantamweight and picked up two wins last year, including a first-round submission of Stephanie Egger in August.

With two wins from last year and against a 40-year-old who has returned to the UFC after a two-year break to have a child, Silva is understandably the clear favorite to win. A closer look at the fighters shows that Mayra Bueno Silva, now fighting at 135 pounds, will have to deal with a stout clinch wrestler in Lina Lansberg. The experienced Swede has survived in the UFC for six years. Currently on a three-match losing skid, the “Elbow Queen” has gone the distance in all three of them losing by decisions, with two of the decisions coming after a break to give birth. Though on her way down, the Muay Thai queen will not succumb easily to the rising Brazilian.
