Brendan Allen (not to be confused with Arnold Allen) came to MMA from Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and it is visible from his results - most of the victories he won with submissions. At the same time, he is doing quite well in the UFC - in twelve fights, he lost only twice.
Allen is the youngest fighter in the top 15 with the most fights. The fighter has grandiose plans; he doesn't agree to anything less than becoming a champion, and in his previous fight, he choked Bruno Silva in the first round.
It should also be noted that this is not a rare result for him - in his last six fights, he won five times by submission. And that allows him to believe in himself.
Paul Craig
Paul Craig is the guy who choked out Magomed Ankalaev at the last second of the fight and caught Nikita Krylov in a triangle choke, losing the fight by all accounts. From the outstanding, we should also note his victory by technical knockout over Jamal Hill a couple of years ago.
In all other respects, he is an above-average fighter with a great feel for the fight, knows how to exploit his opponents' mistakes to the fullest, and has seen some pretty powerful opposition before him.
After two straight losses (to Johnny Walker and Volkan Ozdemir), Craig surprisingly finished Andre Muniz with elbows in his last fight.
Expert Betting Tips
Paul Craig's strength is wrestling, but it's costing him a lot of money to fight Allen. The Scotsman is unlikely to choose that route, but he's not much of a stand-up fighter. The fighters are similar in many ways, but the level and capabilities of Craig we know very well. But Allen progresses from fight to fight and is in a great fighting condition. And if the American will not make a mistake, he is the favorite.
Although the defense of each of them is not ideal, we do not believe that the fight will end quickly. It will take some time to explore, to check out the weaknesses, and simply to exhaust the opponent.
