Attila Korkmaz vs Agy Sardari Prediction: Both fighters stands a chance

By Saturday evening, Octagon 61 will host the Lightweight Division bout between Attila Korkmaz and Agy Sardari. It is set as the Main Card event under the 155 lbs (70.3 kg) weight class. Both fighters have only lost twice in their last five bouts. All action will take place at Winning Group Arena, Brno, Czech Republic, and can be watched live on DAZN.

Attila Korkmazr is a 44th MMA fighter in the Europe region. He boasts of fifteen career wins and eight losses. The 33-year-old fighter is fighting out of Berlin, Germany, and has an affliction with Spitfire Gym Berlin. His coaches in preparation for his forthcoming bouts are Yigit Muk, Emerson Falcao, and Gabriel Rainho. He has never been knocked out before in his career but has won three of his fights through that. Kortmaz loves to leave most of his fights to the hands of the judges, fighting to the very end. He has won eight of his fights by decision and lost seven by the same method. His last fight was against Makwan Amirkhani, which ended in a rear naked choke submission. Prior to this, Korkmaz lost to Ronald Paradeiser via split decision.

Agy Sardari boasts of a professional career record of seventeen wins and five losses. He is nicknamed “The Wolverine” and fights out of the Netherlands. He last fought on May 4th, 2024, and lost to Losene Keita via unanimous decision. Prior to this fight, he recorded two consecutive wins. He won against Osman Minbatirov via a triangular choke submission that earned him also the Submission of the Night award and against Samuel Blasco at the cage warriors via unanimous decision. Agy Sardari is the 148th MMA fighter in the Europe region. He has never been knocked out before within his entire career and won five of his fights through this method. He left Cage Warriors in 2023 to join Octagon MMA and lost his debut fight. Other victories he has recorded were Jack Grant, Amin Kuliev, Ruslan Abrekov, Yutaka Saito, Tycho Brakel, Mauro Seoane, and Saul Van de Poll.

This bout is a tough one to call. Both fighters are fighting on neutral soil. Although Korkmaz is coming off a victory in his last match, his recent form is also as shaky as his opponent. He does not stand a chance, both age-wise and height-wise. Sardari comes into this match as the one with more experience and a higher number of wins. I believe he has what it takes to get the job done. Now this won't be easy. I believe this bout will extend to the very end and will be decided by the judges.
