Alibeg Rasulov vs Ok Rae Yoon Prediction: The Dagestani from Turkey will become the champion

Alibeg Rasulov was born and developed as a fighter in Dagestan, but now he lives and trains in Turkey. His base is freestyle wrestling, but later on he also took up Thai boxing very seriously and had good successes at amateur level. In amateurs he was also MMA world champion (2016), Russian MMA champion (2016) and European MMA champion (2014).

Russian fans could see him at M-1 Global, Gorilla FC, AMC Fight Nights tournaments, and his last fight, which took place last December, Alibeg defeated Polish fighter Cezary Oleksiejczuk (12-2 record at the time) by judge's decision at Khan Fight 3.

He will be making his ONE League debut, but despite the fact that his opponent is very, very serious, bookmakers consider Rasulov the favourite. And, what's more, he has earned the right to fight for the belt, albeit temporarily.

The Korean fighter had five fights in ONE, and each of his opponents was with a name. It is enough to remember his two fights with Christian Lee (win and loss), as well as victories over Marat Gafurov and Eddie Alvarez.

To call Ok Rae Yoon a finisher or even a spectacular fighter is a bit of a mouthful, as the vast majority of his fights ended in split decisions.

The Dagestani looks the obvious favorite, but his victory will not be easy - the Korean has fought a lot of top fighters, knows how to defend, knows how to win. It's unlikely that the fight will be very spectacular, but we will see enough tactical moves and clinches. We believe that Rasulov has more arguments and technical skills, but he won't be able to finish his opponent (and probably he won't set such a task for himself).
