Abusupyan Magomedov has been wrestling since childhood and took up kickboxing after moving to Germany. Abus made his professional MMA debut in 2010 and became champion of two local promotions - Superior FC and German MMA - before trying his hand in the PFL and KSW.

He was invited to join the UFC three years ago but only made his debut last year (his fights were canceled for various reasons) and has already had two fights in the league. In September 2022, he defeated Dustin Stoltzfus in nineteen seconds with a front kick to the jaw and a takedown.

The 30-year-old Brazilian has suffered only one defeat in his entire career, and that came early on somewhere in his home country. He joined the UFC last year and, coincidentally, began a string of victories over post-Soviet fighters, including Gadzhi Omargadzhiev, Armen Petrosyan, and Mahmud Muradov.

Neither fighter is a top contender, and neither is likely to become one. Borrallo's strengths are his standup and single striking, while Magomedov is very good in the clinch.

Abus will probably try to do what he usually does - knock his opponent out in the first round. Borrallo will also push hard in the first half of the fight, as he's typically awful in the third round and always (at least in the UFC) gives away the finish.
