Washington vs Toronto: the Maple Leafs to Outplay the Capitals Three Times This Year

Washington hasn't been playing particularly great of late. Even though they beat Colorado 3:2 on the road recently, right after that the Capitals lost to Vegas and scored only two unanswered pucks against lowly Arizona. So we can say that the home team's form is unstable. As for the position of Washington in the standings of the Metropolitan Division, they are in the top-4 with 99 points.

In the previous five games, Toronto has faced three outsiders having no problems with them, and twice with peer teams where they failed. The Leafs are second in the Atlantic Division standings, five points behind the third Lightning.
