Such a productive stretch has helped them reach sixth place in the Western Conference standings.

Tampa Bay approached the face-off in great shape. Both teams slumped at the start of the regular season, but they found their game, improved their standing, and climbed into the playoff zone. At the same time, the Lightning makes the most favorable impression, having won their last three games in a row and just the day before they took down Boston, who played phenomenally strong in the regular season for the second year in a row. This success should give the South even more confidence in their abilities, and the support of the stands will be an additional factor in their favor.
