Vegas won both of its opening games of the new season and will now have an away game against Seattle. Will the Golden Knights be able to extend their winning streak? Let's pick a few bets at once.
Seattle hasn't lost in regular time yet
Dave Hakstol's team got off to a great start to the championship with a double California away games. First, Seattle only lost 4-5 to Anaheim outside of regular time. And then they beat the tough Los Angeles 4-1. An encouraging start for one of the weakest Western Conference teams of last season.
Vegas has 100 percent winning percentage
The Golden Knights, led by the famous Bruce Cassidy since this season, won both of their starting games. First, Vegas managed to snatch victory from Los Angeles (4-3) having scored the decisive puck in the end. Then went on to defeat Chicago, 1-0. The total is 2-0 and only 1.5 goals missed per game average. Coach Cassidy's work on the team's defensive play seems to be paying off right away.
Injuries and disqualifications
- Seattle: Chris Driedger - won't play. Joonas Donskoi is under question.
- Vegas: Laurent Brossoit, Shea Weber, Robin Lehner, Nolan Patrick won't play.
Expert Betting Tips
Seattle beat Los Angeles in a largely unexpected way in the previous game. But will the Kraken be strong enough for a second straight match of the same quality? This is highly questionable. Especially since the opponent is no match for the previous one. Vegas defeated Los Angeles and played very good hockey in their first two games. A third straight win for Bruce Cassidy's team here is very likely.
