Dallas played pretty poorly in the preseason, where they won only twice in seven games - over Arizona (4:3 with OT) and St. Louis (5:2). In his first game in the new NHL schedule, however, they surprised. At home, they showed bad hockey, scoring its one and only goal only in the first half of the third period (1:4). 

Dallas gave Nashville a lot of trouble in the first game of this mini-series, but can the Predators level the score? In our opinion, they can. The Predators have had a noticeably better preseason, plus they've already played three games in the new NHL season, so they're in good shape with game practice. Based on that, last week's game could very well be called an unfortunate set of circumstances for the Predators.
