In the last ten meetings, they suffered six defeats with four wins, because of which they fell to seventh in the Western Conference standings and, therefore, now risk leaving the Cup eight.

Dallas and Nashville continue to fight for cup spots, with the Texans looking a little better in the current regular season, sitting in the group of Western Conference leaders. At the same time, the Predators are forced to dwell on the edge of the playoff zone. The statistics of head-to-head meetings also favor the Stars, according to which they won five of the last six meetings and every time in regulation time. They are the clear favorites in the upcoming clash despite an extra day of rest for the Yellow and Blue.

The confrontation between Dallas and Nashville is not characterized by too much goal activity. As a rule, personal meetings between the rivals are tough and tense, and the defense is stronger than the offense. In eight previous meetings, the Stars and Predators have scored 39 goals (4.88 per game on average). The Yellow and Blue are especially weak on offense, scoring 14 goals (1.75 per game).
