The Redblacks are bringing a very strong roster to the 2024 World Cup. The roster includes goalkeeper Jordan Binnington, defencemen Owen Power and Colton Parayko, forwards Connor Bedard, Dylan Cozens and 2021 World Cup hero Andrew Mangiapane. Prior to the start of the 2024 World Cup, the Canadians beat Austria and Hungary in friendly games, 5:1 and 4:0, respectively.

The British and Canadian teams are opponents of such different skill levels that it is somehow naive to even compare them. The Brits have scored in 20 consecutive games, including a pair of goals against Kazakhstan in their last test game. The Canadians clearly can't stay focused for the entire 60 minutes, so they'll make one or two mistakes.
