The PGA Tour's FedEx Cup is a trophy for the best golfers. It was the first time that professional men's golf had a playoff system when it was implemented. Troy Merritt, born October 25, 1985, is an American professional golfer who has played on the PGA Tour and the Web.com Tour. He has won twice on the PGA Tour, most recently at the 2018 Barbasol Championship. The 2015 Quicken Loans National and Barbasol Championship champion will enter this match, posting scores of 65, 65, and 70 in the first three rounds. When he faces the more seasoned Sun Jae Im, he will need to perform above and beyond his point total.
Sung-Jae Im - Korean golfer to win
South Korea's top golfer, Im Sung-Jae, turned pro on December 30th, 1998. Two times during the 2018 Web.com Tour season, Im was named Player of the Year. He won The Honda Classic in March of 2020 for his first PGA Tour victory and was named Rookie of the Year for the 2018–19 PGA Tour season. The golfer from Korea has five professional tournament victories to his name. He has placed 70th, 68th, and 63rd since the competition began. He is superior to Merritt and is the favorite to win.
